Q. How many sessions will I need?
A. This very much depends on you. The average is about 6 sessions. Some people have less and some have a lot more. Whatever, it is your choice.
Q. I've never had counselling before and I am unsure where to start.
A. I suggest you book a 30 minute complimentary appointment so we can talk through what you want to achieve.
Q. What can counselling do for me?
A. It is very much your agenda. Counselling is not a quick fix although some people can feel a lot better after just one session. It is a collaborative arrangement where we work together to achieve your objectives. Along the way it can feel difficult and the important thing is for you to begin with the end in mind. i.e. what you want to achieve, where you want to get to etc.
Q. What should I do if I feel like I am at a crisis point right now.
A. You should contact an agency such as the Samaritans who are available 24 hours 7 days per week
